Navrattan Quickset Tuscan Mortar

Navrattan Quickset Tuscan Mortar is a proprietary blend of powders based on geopolymer technology used for repair and resurfacing of the horizontal concrete surfaces. It has been specifically formulated to produce superior bond strength coupled with a quick setting and high early strength gain that allows the repaired surfaces to be used by traffic within a short period of time. Due to its non-shrink and superior bonding tendency with the host concrete, Navrattan Quickset Tuscan Mortar offers a highly durable and sturdy solution to the problem of concrete deterioration.

Surface Preparation

• The surface must be stable, dry, sound, clean and free from loose particles or contamination to ensure proper bonding.
• Clean the surface with a wire brush followed by compressed air. Edges should be prepared professionally using concrete cutting tools.
• Repair deep areas, holes and non-moving cracks prior to application of Navrattan Quickset Tuscan Mortar.

MIXING GUIDELINES AND APPLICATION

• Add about 625-700 ml of water to 5 kg of powder.
• Mix using a mixer blade rotating at 500-800 rpm. Initially, the mixture may appear very dry. Do Not add more water as increasing the water content, more than specified, will affect the final properties of the product.
• Keep mixing for about 2-3 minutes. It will convert into a smooth slurry. The material applied should be at least a 5mm thick layer for the best results.
• Wash off all the equipment used properly after use.
