Navrattan ‘On the Level’ – Self Levelling Formula

Navrattan ‘On the Level’ Self Levelling Formula is a single component proprietary blend of powders based on microcrystalline technology mixed with graded sand that is water activated and used as an underlayment to provide a smooth surface. It can accept any type of floor covering like wood, vinyl sheet, carpet, tiles, etc. in as little as 24 hours.

Navrattan ‘On the Level’ provides a durable, flat, smooth floor surface with minimum labor and installation time. It is pourable and pumpable when mixed with water and seeks its level to produce a smooth, flat, and hard surface. Surface leveled with Navrattan ‘On the Level’ can be ground and polished to a high gloss finish after 24 hours.

• Navrattan ‘On the Level’ is used to level floors to provide flat and smooth surfaces before installing ceramic tiles, carpet, wooden or vinyl flooring. It produces a wear surface suitable for commercial and industrial areas including warehouse floors, parking lots and other utility areas.

PREPARATION & MIXING GUIDELINES

• Concrete floors must be dry, clean, structurally sound, and free from dust, dirt, oil, grease, asphalt, paints, adhesives, etc. for a great final result.
• Concrete surface must be primed before the application of Navrattan ‘On the Level’ to prevent the formation of pinholes, bubbling, and loss of water from it. The product can be used 10 minutes after priming.
• Use about 6 – 6.5 liters of water for every 25 kg of powder. Mix the slurry using a mixer blade rotating at 500-800 rpm. Initially, the mixture might appear to be dry, but adding more water can affect the final results. Keep mixing for a few minutes until a purple lump-free slurry is formed. At this point, pour the mix in application areas.
• The use of dust mask, safety goggles, and gloves are recommended. Wash of the equipment immediately after use.
• Navrattan ‘On the Level’ has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture if stored in the original packing, under a shade, and protected from rain or moisture.
